number of samples in uprocstat
i just compared the number of samples per node, generated by telegraf plugins and the only one that has different values for all three nodes in my data set is uprocstat. here are the numbers:
plugin | 170 | 171 | 172 |
---|---|---|---|
cpu | 10269 | 10269 | 10269 |
mem | 489 | 489 | 489 |
node | 489 | 489 | 489 |
swap | 489 | 489 | 489 |
system | 489 | 489 | 489 |
uprocstat | 2934 | 6357 | 1956 |
the numbers are 6*sample for node 170, 13*sample for 171 and 4*sample for 172 - it looks like there is something seriously broken in the plugin. can you take a look?
PS: the number 10269 (= 21 * 489) results from the fact that cpu plugin samples per cpu (thread) and there are 20 of them in every node (plus one additional sample as a summary) - so all the other plugins are consistent in terms of sampling interval.
