Student has empty drop-down in navigation bar

Summary

There is a drop-down next to the logout button on the navigation which apparently has no use-case at the moment.

Steps to reproduce

Login as a student and click on the username next to the "logout" button.

Possible fixes

Think about what functionality could be provided or remove the ability to open the drop-down by clicking.
