Back end / front end connection

Feature Requests

Currently the front end (i.e. the Ahiqar version of the QViewer available at https://gitlab.gwdg.de/subugoe/ahiqar/frontend) is hard wired to the back end running on ahikar-dev (cf. https://gitlab.gwdg.de/subugoe/ahiqar/frontend/-/blob/develop/index.html#L26).

As a result, we never get to see the back end of ahikar-test or the production server, even if we call https://ahikar-test.sub.uni-goettingen.de or https://ahikar.sub.uni-goettingen.de, respectively.

As a user I want to be sure to the front end displaying the right data in order to build trust in the application.

Is this feature an enhancement of existing code or a completely new feature?

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
