Bug: CI stage for deployment always succeeds

Description
Even when the API for the deploy job isn't available, the CI stage succeeds.

I expected the following to happen
When the API does not return a 200, the test should fail.
On the contrary, I observed
The test succeeded although the API wasn't available.
