Performance: Improve triggers

Description
Automatically creating the annotation items and the HTML via triggers works, but it takes about 30 seconds per page (which is quite too slow). The process should be faster.
User Story
As a developer taking care of the back end I need the data creation to be fast in order to save resources and have the back end available soon after a data update.
