Prevent failure in case of empty fastq files during quality control

During QC it might happen that no reads are left for subsequent steps (e.g. deduplication). htstream throws an Unhandled Exception: There are not either 3 (SE), 5 (PE, itab5), or 6 (PE, itab6) elements within a tab-delimited file line that should be caught and handled within the command pipe.
